Massa Lubrense, less known compared to the other villages of Sorrento peninsula and not directly visited by the masses of tourists, has a more withdrawn character and preserves the tastes and suggestions which have been lost in other places, as for example the suggestive farm houses.
A feather in its cap is the Marina della Lobra, located on a small stretch of the Peninsula and it is the small harbour of the municipality of Massa Lubrense.
The little harbour is a natural inlet that gives hospitality to many pleasure and fishing boats as well as to a nautical club.
Around Massa Lubrense there are many charming places: Termini, Nerano, a mountainside small village with houses and pergolas that go down to the sea, the wide and very beautiful Marina del Cantone.
Continuing from Massa along the coast, up to the end of the Sorrento Peninsula, in front of Capri there is Punta della Campanella.
In the ancient times this place was sacred: probably this was the place where the Greek temple dedicated to the sirens was built, which was told by the ancient writers.
