Villa gatto, made of black and white Carrara marble, is an architectural marvel, it seems like a sleeping cat, this is the how the architect that designed it wanted it to look.
This holiday villa on Sorrento’s hills, sits astride the two most fabled bays of Campania: Naples and Salerno, from the grounds and the villa’s upper floor the views stretch up and down a coastline filled with pastel-colored villages.
You will be roughly 7 km from Sorrento, where you will find the beach and the tourist port. You will find a number of restaurants at 800 meters, shops at 800 meters and the stop for the local bus and the SITA bus a few meters (feet) away.
Two wide living rooms with cosy atmosphere with fireplace, many terraces, from which you can enjoy a wonderful view. The swimming pool is extremely pleasant, 10 mt x 4, active form May 1st to October 31st of every year. In the swimming pool area you will also find an above-ground Jacuzzi pool with hydromassage (2 by 2 meters, 6.5 by 6.5 feet). The swimming pool area is equipped with a table, chairs, sun umbrellas, sun loungers and an external shower. Availability is possible, in some periods, only on demand.
The garden is shaded by perfumed trees. It is equipped with tables, chairs and sun loungers. Here you will also find a barbecue. From the garden you will have a fascinating view over the bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius.
In the big entrance room (the mouth of the feline) what's impressive is the game of lights and furnishings: two couples of white columns, at the sides of the room, that look like big canines; or a big double fountain, provided with a tub, surrounded by overlooking boardwalks.
On the first floor you will find two living room. The floor is paved with precious inlaid marble. The furnishings are elegant and refined. They include two leather sofas and an armchair. There is an impressive fireplace splendidly decorated in green marble. In this room you will find a satellite television and a personal computer. From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of the coastline through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
On the ground floor there's the eating area, with the dining room and the kitchen equipped with four burners, stove and microwave oven, two fridges with freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
On the top floor, there's the big living room, the dining table can accommodate 20 guests, separeted by the boardwalk into two separated areas. Bedroom 2 with en-suite bathroom
10 bedrooms with en-suite bathroom. They have a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), that can be split into twins if requested. In these rooms you will find a satellite television. From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace and the garden with a view of the sea and of the coastline through a French door. All the bedrooms are equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Here you will also find a safe e a mini refrigerator. The bedrooms have an en-suite bathrooms, made of marble and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower or a bathtub and a hairdryer, One bathroom has a Jacuzzi bathtub.
