From Naples Capodichino Airport by car

From Highway A/3 Napoli - Salerno go towards Naples until the Castellammare di Stabia exit. Take the Castellammare di Stabia exit and continue on SS 145 for about 23 Km, continue through various different towns before arriving in Sorrento (Vico Equense, Meta, Piano di Sorrento and Sant'Agnello). Sorrento is approximately 48 kilometers from Naples and is about a 1 hour drive without traffic.

 

From Rome by car

From Rome reach the main road "A1"direction south (Napoli) and, after leaving Naples, take the main road "A3" to Salerno-ReggioCalabria (Not Tangenziale Napoli). As far as the exit Castellammare di Stabia; follow the National Road 145 (SS 145) always the brown sign “Penisola Sorrentina”. As far as Meta, which is about 44 kms away from Naples

Reach sant'Agata: Once you arrive at Capo di Sorrento turn onto the Nastro Verde to get to Sant'Agata sui due Golfi. Then follow the signs for Deserto where our staff will be waiting to welcome you warmly at the time previously scheduled over the phone.

 

From Rome Airport by public means

There is a shuttle that connects the Airport with the main railway station in Rome. From Rome Termini there are several trains to Naples (The trip takes approximately 2 hours). In alternative, (only during working days) from the Termini train station You can take the bus of “Marozzi” company that leaves from the capital at 7:00 am and 3:00 pm: the bus takes directly to Sorrento , (Euros 15.99).
The SITA line departs daily for Amalfi, S. Agata sui due Golfi and Massa Lubrense (making all the stops in the different towns on the way) with departures every half hour or so from the Sorrento Train Station. There is also a daily bus that departs from Assisi for Sorrento

 

From Naples Capodichino Airport by public means

From Naples airport You can take a taxi or bus to the railway station at Piazza. At the main Garibaldi train station Piazza Garibaldi in Naples You will be able to board the local Circumvesuviana trains which leave for Sorrento every 20 minutes all day long. In alternative, from the Naples Capodichino Airport You can take the bus of “Curreri” company that takes directly to Sorrento ,
 with departure at 9:00 am - 11:30 am - 01:00 pm - 02:30 pm - 04:30 pm - 07:00 pm. (The trip takes approximately 1 hour). Transfer Napoli to Sorrento can be arranged also with taxis and several private cars with drivers, but the cost is much more expensive, from € 70,00 to € 100,00.

 

By Train

From the Napoli Centrale Piazza Garibaldi of the Ferrovie dello Stato, where trains arrive from the main Italian cities, the Circumvesuviana local trains depart providing daily service about every 30 minutes to Sorrento. The trip takes a little over an hour and no reservations are necessary. The ticket costs about 2.60 Euros and can be purchased at the ticket counter and at any of the newstands in the station.

 

By Boat
From the Beverello dock of Naples at the Piazza Municipio ferries and hydrofoils pcan be taken to Sorrento. The trip lasts about 45 minutes, and is quite comfortable, but it costs almost twice as much as going by train. They dock at the port of Sorrento, which is about 500 meters from the center. Shuttles are available from the main piazza. It is also easy to reach the islands of Capri and Ischia from Sorrento, thanks to the streamlined maritime transportation network that has frequent departures by hydrofoil and ferries.
