Every summer, in Sorrento have a festival of Jazz called “Sorrento Jazz”, that includes a well matched program of exciting concerts for jazz lovers.
The Festival takes place every year in the different locations of Sorrento, such as the monastery of Saint Francis or ancient villas. Against the attractive backdrop of locations, great names from the international jazz music scene perform alongside emerging talent throughout the summer week. The festival lasts one week between August and September and the musicians who take part of the event accepted enthusiastically the invitation of the artistic director.
